The North Bay Labor Council, AFL-CIO is the Central Labor Council representing over 30,000 members and their families of 71 Labor Unions throughout California. Its mission is to improve the lives of working families—to bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to the state and nation. Part of the text reads: “In addition to a $1,500 contribution from Chevron, Wilson has taken campaign contributions from pharmaceutical giant Abbott Laboratories, Bank of America, insurance company PACs and two PACs fighting to limit protections for Californians against medical malpractice… In these tough times, the last thing we need is another Assembly member who's accountable to the big corporations who put him in office—instead of to us.” Wilson was not elected.
